# AI Chat

> Learn how to use the AI chat to find, insert, or follow up on bookmarks

## How it works

The AI chat is a powerful tool that allows you to find, insert, or follow up on bookmarks using natural language.

You can use the AI chat to:

* Find bookmarks by topic, keyword, or URL.
* Insert new bookmarks by URL.
* Follow up on bookmarks by topic, keyword, or URL.

## How to use

You can use the AI chat by clicking the **Chat** button on your dashboard.

## Example of good queries

* "Find me the best deals on Levi's jeans I have bookmarked"
* "I have a wedding tomorrow, what should I wear?"
* "Need some articles to read tomorrow about AI — what do you recommend?"
* "Please insert the following URL: [https://www.google.com](https://www.google.com)"

## Edge Cases & What to avoid

* You may ask AI to also query specific tags (tags, tagsMain, tagsSupporting, tagsContext) or notes.
* Follow-ups are welcome but try to keep the conversation natural and engaging about your bookmarks.
* Chat is oriented for Tool Calling, so try to keep the conversation focused on your bookmarks.
