Viewing Bookmarks
Your bookmarks are displayed in a grid view showing thumbnail previews, titles, and metadata.
Video Bookmarks
Bookmarks from video content (Twitter videos, Instagram Reels, YouTube, etc.) display a play button overlay on their thumbnail. Click the play button to watch the video directly within Bookmarkjar without leaving the app.
Page Size
Customize how many bookmarks appear per page using the settings cog icon next to the pagination controls. Available options: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 100, or 200 bookmarks per page.
Your preference is saved automatically and persists across sessions.
Bulk Operations
Select multiple bookmarks to perform batch actions.
Selecting Bookmarks
- Single click: Toggle selection on a bookmark
- Shift + click: Select a range of bookmarks between your last selected bookmark and the clicked one
- Selection indicator: A blue checkbox appears on selected bookmarks
Bulk Actions
Once you have bookmarks selected, the following actions become available:
- Delete: Remove all selected bookmarks permanently
- Refresh: Re-crawl metadata for all selected bookmarks (useful if titles/images are outdated)
Bulk delete is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure you’ve selected the correct bookmarks before confirming deletion.
Organization Management
Wipe Organization Data
If you need to start fresh, you can wipe all data from your organization in Settings → Organization → Danger Zone.
This removes:
- All bookmarks
- All tags
- All collections
- Integration sync history
This action is irreversible. Export your bookmarks first if you want to keep a backup.
